I've lost count of the number of seminars, workshops, fundraisers, and lobbying days on violence against women with an audience made up of entirely women. The onus on this absence is not entirely on the men, but often it is also in part due to an organizations lack of engagement with men. If issues of Violence Against Women are to be treated as a basic human right and a not merely a women's issue, more organizations like Men Can Stop Rape need to exist. Thankfully, men and boys are becoming engaged on this issue globally.
